In India, Rural families are caught in 02 vicious circles, feeding each other and dragging them down every year with generation to generation.

We believe that the compounding effect of another key area ( Rural Education) which would have act as enabler to stop this degradation of rural life by providing an alternate livelihood to new and younger generation , had actually become an weight stone which has dragged the rural India further down as:
Majority of children study in Government schools. In spite of enormous efforts and resources of government, an alarming percentage of students struggle to meet the basic education criterion of reading and writing in their own mother tongues, Decreasing human values, deteriorating health, drug addiction, increasing crime rates are some of the alarming facts that indicates we need an education system which should aim not only to academics but strive for overall development with emphasis on value system

The belief that change can only be brought at the grassroot level by giving education, led to the foundation of “Shikshit Aur Saksham”.
